We are happy to announce successful accomplishment of 6 years medical studies programme by Malaysian students at Russian State Medical University (RSMU). The Graduation ceremony was held in “Dewan Merak Kayangan”. 38 happy doctors join the ranks of Malaysian medics to serve this country and community.l. They are part of almost 800 of Russian universities graduates over the last eight years. Graduates of Russian medical schools are most numerous among Malaysian overseas students.

The Russian State Medical University is one of the oldest medical higher educational establishments in Russia. In 2006 we celebrated the university's 100th anniversary. University is proud to be the first educational establishment in Russia where a faculty for higher medical education for women was formed. As well the university was a pioneer in opening in 1930 the first pediatric faculty in the world which has become a model for pediatric faculties in other countries all over the world. The world's first faculty for medicobiologics was opened in RSMU in 1964.

The Graduation ceremony was held in “Dewan Merak Kayangan”. There were representatives from Malaysian Ministry of Education (Department of foreign studies), management of the leading country's universities and of course happy and proud parents and friends of the graduates.
